God orchestrated every detail for me to join the JCA family and I give Him all the glory. I have a certificate of achievement in Cross Culture Studies and am finishing up my bachelor’s degree in Early Education with an endorsement in Special education.

I married my college sweetheart and together we have served on the mission field around the world and in our neighborhood as we raise our three children.

”Building relationships with our students and engaging in their everyday lives allows me to pour the love of Jesus into their hearts fervently praying for them to know the Lord personally and cultivating a fire that stirs them to serve Him with all their hearts. Together we shine our lights for His purpose and willing vessel each day.”

Clint Luscombe

Mr.Luscombe is a two-time graduate of Iowa State University. He has a B.S. in Psychology and a Master of School Mathematics. He began his career by teaching both American History and World History. “I thank the Lord for the opportunity to teach at JCA. It is indeed a blessing to be here.”

Teacher

Laura Meyers

My father was in the Air Force and he loved to travel so I spent most of my childhood living internationally – Italy, Japan, and the Philippines. My father would always ask, “I wonder where that road leads?” and we would be off to explore. He fostered a love of learning that continues to this day.

I received my BA in Elementary Education from MidAmerica Nazarene College in Olathe, KS. I have included different subject areas in my continuing education courses.

My grandmother always said I had a “one-room schoolhouse” where I was blessed to be able to homeschool our children for over 25 years. I was actively involved in our homeschool support group and was a supervising teacher to several families.

I have been married to my college sweetheart, Brad, for 34 years. We have 8 children (4 boys and 4 girls) ranging in ages from 14-30. Four of the children are married and another wedding is coming soon. We have six grandchildren to hug now and another one joining us soon.

”I am still amazed how God uses “coincidences” in our lives and continues to impress things upon our hearts, teach us, guide us... I enjoy chapel time and worshipping Him in song, in sign language, and through Bible memory. I want to watch the students grow in the Lord. “

K-3 Teacher

LeeLynn Ramseyer

Ms. Ramseyer teaches K-3 at JCA South. She was born in New Orleans, but as a preacher’s kid, moved to several states, finally spending her teens and early adulthood in Tennessee. She attended Peay State University (Clarksville, TN) and received a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts (Music)

LeeLynn stepped out of the workforce after starting a family. Over the last 20 years, she has homeschooled three children. Her love of teaching grew from teaching her children and other students in a homeschool coop for about 7 years. She also has directed a teen choir for the last 13 years.

LeeLynn and her husband Rusty have 3 children, Hollie, Clay, and Grace. Their oldest is a teacher in Nashville, TN, and their other son will be marrying this December. Grace just graduated from high school and has entered the workforce.

“I heard about JCA for many years. Recently, I have seen the passion of the leaders and teachers of JCA as they seek to share the love of Christ through the education of students from elementary to high school. I look forward to joining in this endeavor. “ - Ms. Ramseyer

K-3

Madison Rowland

Madison grew up all over the midwest, having moved several times due to her father’s job. However, she calls Kimball, Minnesota home.

She has an Associate Degree in Court Reporting from Des Moines Area Community College.

Before joining JCA, Madison worked at a daycare, taught piano, and worked as a court reporter for almost three years.

Madison has two brothers and a sister. My mother was a stay-at-home mom when we were growing up and now provides daycare for some mothers in the church. My father was a youth minister for most of my childhood and became senior pastor in 2016

“ I felt called to ministry and grateful for the opportunity at JCA.”
