Educational Savings Accounts – What You Need to Know

An Education Savings Account, also known as an ESA, is a great opportunity for JCA to further provide a quality Christian education to those who wouldn’t normally have access to it.

How it Works

  • Parents who choose to enroll their eligible children in an accredited nonpublic school like JCA will receive an amount equal to the per-student funding allocated to public school districts the same budget school year (currently around $7,500)
  • Funds will be deposited into an Education Savings Account (ESA) to be used for tuition, fees and other qualified education expenses as specified in the legislation

Who is Eligible

  • All current students entering Kindergarten
  • All current students enrolled in a public school
  • All current students enrolled in an accredited nonpublic school with a household income at or below 400%
